ABN is a brand of blood pressure (BP) monitoring devices. These devices, also known as BP apparatuses or BP monitors, are used to measure and monitor a person’s blood pressure. They consist of a cuff that is placed around the upper arm and an electronic monitor that displays the blood pressure reading. The cuff is inflated to restrict blood flow in the arm, and then gradually released to measure the blood pressure as the blood flow returns to the arm.
